After a 10-year hiatus which included guest appearances on other albums and tracks, Rakim is back with “The Seventh Seal.” Released yesterday, this is Rakim’s third studio album. I don’t consider myself a “hip-hop head” (not by a long shot), but “The Seventh Seal” might be worth a listen. I mean, Rakim is definitely rap royalty.
Rakim is also performing live this Thursday, November 19th at B.B. King Blues Club and Grill (237 West 42nd Street, New York, NY 10036). He is scheduled to perform at 9pm, but I would suggest arriving a little early.
